I had heard about this new playground opening this summer, but we hadn't made it out there to visit it yet. The weather has been perfect here, and surprisingly cool for middle of June, so we decided to load up the kids after J got off work, pack sandwich items and head out there! I'm so glad we did! This was such a fun park!

The parking lot is a little ways from the playground. If you're pushing a stroller it may be tricky to maneuver as you have to walk down some stairs. However, there is a walking path that's a little further away that it's easy to get there.

There's plenty of bathrooms here - two are right near the playground. A pavilion near the bathroom and parking lot has a grill and several tables.

When you first walk down the hill, you'll see this huge climbing playground. I've never seen one like this before! It's a huge ropes course with a few slides and tunnels.

A little further down is the 2-5 years old playground. They have their own set of swings which include the bucket seats and the bucket seat and adult swing set, too.

In the center of the three playgrounds are a few other tables, but they are not covered. Shaded benches are stationed around the playgrounds though.

Finally, there's a LARGE playground for kids ages 5-12. There's several climbing options, slides for both bigger kids and even smaller kids. There's plenty of interactive games, too including a color wheel, three in a row, and even a telescope a top of one of the towers.

There's a large walking trail all throughout the park and even a fishing spot! It's still a very new park so shade trees are limited, but there's so much to do! We can't wait to come back another time this summer with our fishing poles.
